Bruce D. Weinbaum, 83, of Cranston passed away on Wednesday October 8, 2025, surrounded by his family.
Bruce was the beloved husband of Tracey (Thomas)Weinbaum. Bruce and Tracey did much traveling – exploring new places, cultures, and meeting people but were always thrilled to see family in Pittsburgh, Florida, and California.
Bruce was the son of Morris and Anna (Rosenberg) Weinbaum. He was born and grew up in Providence.
Bruce was a loving father to his daughters, Lisa (Bill) and Michelle (Ben). He was a loving grandad to his 5 grandchildren.
Bruce had many nephews and nieces – he loved and cherished his relationship with each of them.
In his youth, Bruce raced stock cars at Seekonk Speedway and was known for taking off on his motorcycle to explore New England.
He always had a head for business – a very analytical mind, Bruce established Advanced Carpet Cleaning where he owned and operated the company for 25 years before selling it. Bruce loved talking with people and was well known in our neighborhood, He was often seen walking the dog and chatting with people. When traveling he would enjoy meeting people from all over and kept in touch with many of them over the years.
Bruce loved animals, they always seemed to like him too. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local Animal Shelter in Bruce’s Memory.
Family and friends are invited to calling hours from 2:00- 5:00pm on Sunday October 12, 2025, at the NARDOILILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. Burial will be held privately in Pittsburgh, PA.
