Bryan Boothe Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by McLin Funeral Home and Cremation Service on Jan. 27, 2026.
Bryan Derwyn Boothe Sr., born April 15, 1961, in New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on January 25, 2026. He resided in Walker, Louisiana, where he was a valued and respected manager of the family business, Complete Diesel & Automotive. He was deeply proud to support the business his son built and to work alongside him, a role he embraced with dedication and genuine pride.

Bryan is survived by his children: Heather and Timothy Livingston, Bryan Jr. and Brittany Boothe, and Heidi and Danny Fisher. He cherished his role as "Gramps" to his beloved grandchildren: Sophia, Graham, Elle, Maci, Tilley, Jack, Jincy, Levi, Louis, Annabelle, Abigail, Caroline, and Lily.

He is also survived by his beloved, Debra Boothe; his mother, Mary Boothe; his brothers, Barry, John, and Michael Boothe; and their spouses, Sherry, Ellen, and Tricia Boothe; along with a host of nieces and nephews. Bryan is remembered fondly by his brother-in-law, David Toth.

Bryan is preceded in death by his father, Alton Boothe, and his mother-in-law, Rebecca Shockley.

While he experienced many seasons in life, his greatest achievements were not measured in titles or accolades, but in the family he loved so deeply. He was most proud of his children and took immense joy in his grandchildren, who brought light, laughter, and purpose to his life.

In September of 2025, he experienced a profound spiritual transformation. Having received the Holy Ghost, he began a new life in Christ, one marked by renewed faith, hope, and peace. This spiritual rebirth was a defining and meaningful chapter of his life, one that brought comfort and hope to both him and his family.

He will be remembered for his devotion to God, his deep love for his family, and the testimony of a life made new in Christ-a faith that continues through his children and grandchildren as they hold fast to the hope of a glorious reunion.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Bryan's visitation on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Walker Pentecostal Church from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Interment will take place on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Ellis Boothe Cemetery in Harrisonburg, Louisiana. Pallbearers will be Ray Boothe, Keith Boothe, Brett Boothe, Christopher Boothe, Ashley Boothe, and David Toth.

Arrangements have been entrusted to McLin Funeral Home. Online condolences may be shared at www.mclinfuneralhome.com
