Bryan "Buzz" (Dale) Brueck, 72, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep early on June 15, 2024, in
Buford, GA.
Bryan, also known as "Buzzard," was born on September 12, 1951, to Betty Collins and Edd Brueck (both deceased) in
San Luis Obispo, CAHe is survived by his loving wife, Katherine Murillo-Brueck and beloved pups, Paco and Lola of Buford GA; brother and sister-in-law, Alan "Buddy" and Anita Brueck of Talladega AL; sister, Bonnie Blake of
Aiken, SC ; daughter, Lauren Cooper and son-in-law, David Cooper; grandson, Cameron Blanton, and granddaughter, Katie Lauren Blanton all of Williamsburg VA; mother-in-law, Martha M. Murillo, sister-in-law Marti Murillo and brother-in-law Kevin Murillo all of San Ramon Costa Rica; brother-in-law Danny Murillo and wife Jacki of Tamarac FL; brother-in-law Ken Murillo and wife Tracy of Lafayette GA; stepmother, Lois Craig Brueck of Maurice LA; and many special nieces and nephews and extended family.
Bryan was preceded in death by beloved pups Taggle, PittyPat, Cielo and Pecas; father, Edd Brueck; mother, Betty Collins Brueck and father-in-law, Kenneth Murillo.

During Bryan's time in service, he received several decorations. National Defense Service Medal, Marksmanship Medal, Air Force Outstanding Unit (twice or 1 oak leaf cluster) and the Air Force Good Conduct Medal
Bryan attended French Camp Academy, French Camp MS. He studied Aviation Management/Flight Operations at Auburn University and received his private pilot's license in February of 1979 from Auburn University, School of Aviation
Bryan was a licensed pilot with several endorsements in different aircraft. Bryan was certified as an Accident Prevention Counselor by the FAA. He was a rated pilot in airline transporting as well as commercial privileges. Later Bryan would go on to certify in commercial aircraft. In 1986, Bryan played a large role as a pilot in the inaugural demonstration of the Pilatus PC9 aircraft which would later become trainers to Saudi Arabia and the Royal Australian Air Force Piper single & twin engine. He would go on to fly Lear Jets for Epps Aviation and Hill Aviation both out of Atlanta GA. After his flying career, Bryan was both a student and instructor of Information Technology with New Horizons. He retired from World Financial Group in March of 2016 after 15 years as a Database Administrator.
Bryan loved RV'ing, camping, shooting, boating and deep-sea fishing. He was an active member of the Georgia Gun Club; the National Sporting Clays Association where he was a Certified Level II Instructor and Referee; the Lanier Striper and Crappie clubs in Georgia. Bryan loved adventure and traveling and went all over the world with his wife, Kathy. During the Covid pandemic Bryan took up another hobby; building scale models of military aircraft and, more recently, intricate and detailed models of historic tall ships such as the French frigate L'Hermione which visited Yorktown VA in 2015. He had begun work on a model of the Navy ship USS Constitution, also known as Old Ironsides, a three-masted wooden-hulled heavy frigate moored in Charlestown MA.
Bryan loved deeply, gave generously and lived fully. He will be greatly missed.
