We come together to remember and celebrate the life of Bryan Meyer, whose life was tragically cut short in a car accident on September 27, 2024, in his hometown of Topeka, Kansas. Born on August 4, 1987, Bryan's life was one marked by creativity, adventure, and a spirited love for the outdoors.

Bryan grew up in Topeka, where he attended Washburn Rural school during his formative years, eventually graduating from Lawrence Garden High School. He was known for his creative spirit, which he channeled into B & M Meyer Building & Maintenance Co., a successful business he proudly co-owned with his father, Michael Meyer. Beyond their business endeavors, Bryan and his father were generous contributors to their community, often donating time and resources to local churches and organizations.

Family was the cornerstone of Bryan's life. He leaves behind his father, Michael Meyer, his mother, Dondie Meyer (Robert McLinn), brother Josh Sr. (Sarah) & Matthew, sister; Ashley Kelly (Jake). His love extended to his nieces Alexis, Ashley, Alayna, and Aubree, his nephew’s Josh Jr., Ashton and great-nephew Julian. His grandmother, Helen Enger (Bud Casteel), Bryan’s girlfriend Kristina Bell, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, who will dearly miss his presence.

He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents Earl Meyer & Gladys Brandenburg, Maternal Grandfathers John Harden and Phillip Ralls, Aunt’s Renea Fiebig and Debra Ralls, Uncle’s Shawn Ralls and Gary Strong, cousins Morgan Myers and Taylor Watkins.

An avid sports fan, Bryan had a passion for baseball and football. He was also a fan of MMA fighting, showcasing his love for competition and sportsmanship. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, camping and music and the love for smoked foods.

A bump in the road came in April when Bryan suffered a brain injury that would have sidelined an ordinary man. But Bryan was anything but ordinary. He tackled his recovery with the same gusto as he did everything else in life. He found solace and strength at Central Church, realigning his compass with the guidance of Our Lord Savior.

Previously, he had been a member of Still Water Church, where he was baptized in the presence of his cousin Christopher and family, marking a profound moment in his spiritual journey.

Those who knew Bryan would describe him as a man of boundless creativity, an adventurer at heart, and a spirited soul who brought energy and enthusiasm to everything he did. His zest for life was infectious, and his presence could light up any room. On his property, Bryan built two garden ponds, tree houses, and a zip line, which he fondly named Fort Meyer. These creations were more than just structures; they were a testament to his imaginative spirit and his desire to craft a world of wonder and enjoyment for his nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.

As we bid farewell to Bryan, we reflect on a life lived with passion and purpose. His memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him, and his legacy will endure through the many lives he touched. Bryan's adventurous spirit now soars beyond the skies, and while he will be deeply missed, the stories of his life will be treasured and recounted for generations.

The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am Monday morning October 7th.  Funeral services will follow beginning at 11:00 am at Parker-Price Cremations and Funeral Services, 245 NW independence Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66608.
