Bryan Anthony Trejo,29, affectionally called Captain Yinnies or Genesis to his brother, aunts and cousins, of Sterling Heights, Michigan, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025 in Sterling Heights, Michigan.

Bryan was welcomed into this life on October 10,1996, in Indiana by his proud parents Daniel and Elizabeth (Liz) Trejo. Bryan graduated from Henry Ford II High school in 2017. Bryan accepted Christ at an early age and attended mass at Woodside Bible Church. Bryan's favorite verse was from King James Proverb 16:20: "He that handleth a matter wisely, shall find good: and who so trusteth in the Lord, happy in he."

His hobbies included hearing music (Lord Huron, Mac Miller, Tyler The Creator, The Weeknd, Drake to name a few), photography, an avid sneakerhead and playing pokemon go, video games, and basketball. He enjoyed watching football, basketball, and UFC. Bryan was an enthusiast fan of Jared Goff (Detriot Lions), Matthew Stafford (Rams), Lebron James (Lakers), Kevin Durant (Rockets) and UFC fighter Brandon Moreno.

Bryan was excited and motivated by his job as an Operations Specialist III at UWM.

Bryan is survived and will greatly be missed by his father Daniel, his mother Elizabeth (Liz) Trejo, his brother Daniel Jr. (Danny) Trejo, his Grandma Juana Trejo, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and countless friends.

Bryan is proceeded in death by his maternal grandfather (Otro Papi) Juan A. Vasquez, Grandmother (Otra Mami), Maria de los Angeles Vasquez, maternal aunts, Maria Teresa Downs, Angelica Vasquez, maternal uncles, Noe, Ricardo, Rogelio (Roger), and Arturo Vasquez.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Bryan's life with a visitation and service at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road (3 blocks East of Van Dyke Avenue), Utica, on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 2-8 pm, and on SaturdayNovember 15, 2025. from 11am until the time of his Funeral Service at 1 pm at the funeral home.
