On October 4, 2024, Robert Sample passed on peacefully in New Baltimore, Michigan. He was 45 years old.
Robert is survived by his parents, Barbara Riggs of New Baltimore, Michigan and Stuart Sample of Tampa, Florida, his two sisters, Michelle Parkinson (Jeff Parkinson) of Columbiaville, Michigan and Sherri Sample (Craig Salek) of New Baltimore, Michigan and two nephews Tyler Sample and Jack Grzyb.
Robert was born on June 1, 1979 at Royal Oak Beaumont in Royal Oak Michigan. He graduated from Henry Ford II High School in Sterling Heights Michigan in 1997.
During his high school years, Robert was a member of the High School Marching, Jazz, Orchestra, Chamber and Pep Bands. His junior year of high school the HFHSII Marching Band was called to march in the Rose Bowl Parade, that year in California. Only three high school marching bands are invited every year to perform in the Rose Bowl Parade.
Robert was passionate about music, cars and trucks, particularly Jeeps. He loved listening to the Detroit Tigers on the radio when he could sit outside at home, on a nice summer day, enjoying spending time with his dog, Jazz, and often a few friends and family.
Robert loved deeply, and was always the first person to offer a helping hand to anyone in need. His heart was incredibly generous and kind. A true gentleman and loved by many.
Memorial Visitation for Robert will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. with a 3:00 p.m. Memorial Service on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at the Wasik Funeral Home located at 35259-23 Mile Road in New Baltimore.
A reception will immediately follow the visitation at Sherri's house which is located at 36616 Main St. New Baltimore, MI 48047.
