Bryan M. Wanta, 58, of Bevent, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Bryan was born on September 21, 1966, in Stevens Point. The son of Clarence 'Kelly' and Adeline Wanta.
On April 12, 1997, Bryan was united in marriage to Tammy Milanowski in Las Vegas.
Bryan drove truck for several years before moving to Las Vegas with Tammy, where they owned and managed apartment complexes. After the couple moved back, they bought land in Bevent, where they built their home. Bryan loved working on their land and building up their property. He was known as 'Mr. Fix It' and was a jack of all trades. Bryan enjoyed watching the deer, NASCAR, playing golf and the occasional trip to the casino. Bryan was very outgoing and loved joking around with and spending time with his family and friends.
Bryan is survived by his wife, Tammy; one son, Kyle (fiancée, Christina) Wanta; father, Clarence 'Kelly' Wanta; grandson, Ashton; step-grandchildren, Aydrean, Cedrick and Deattrick; brother, Bruce (Cindy) Wanta; mother and father-in-law, David and Eileen Milanowski; brothers-in-law, David Jr. (Kari) Milanowski and Darin (fiancée, Patty) Milanowski; nieces and nephews, Kristi (Nathan), Katie (Logan), Tyler, Tyler (Allison), Ryan (Ashley) and Morgan; great niece and nephew, Tate and Savannah.
Bryan was preceded in death by his mother, Adeline; paternal grandparents, Grandpa Bear and Bertha and maternal grandparents, Anton and Mattie Wanta.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg. Sister Mary Ellen Diermeier will officiate. Visitation will be on Saturday, from 9 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank the doctors and care staff in the Palliative Care Unit at Aspirus Wausau Hospital for their care given to Bryan.
