Bryon Leon Bennett, 65, of Arab died October 12, 2025.
Mr. Bennett was born in 1960 to Dale and Janis Bennett in Indianapolis, IN.
He was an honest, hardworking man who put the needs of others first. He played several years of minor league baseball (AAA) in Los Angeles, California before making a career in heavy equipment rental and sales. He enjoyed all sports, music, animals, and spending time with friends and family. He was a talented musician, self-taught piano player and singer.
He is survived by his children: Duston Bennett, Keah Bennett, and Zach Bennett; and granddaughter: Ainsley Emersyn Bennett.
He was proceeded in death by his brother Brad Bennett, mother and father, Dale and Janis Bennett.
Pallbearers will be Stan Parker, Doug Hornsby, Gary Green, Tim Frazier, Brett Bradford, Zach Bennett, and Duston Bennett.
Visitation will be 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2025, at Carr Funeral Home in Guntersville, AL. The funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Arab Cemetery located at 403 South Main Street Arab, AL 35016.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Ainsley Emersyn Bennett's college fund at Redstone Federal Credit Union.
