Bryson Haddock

RAEFORD, NC ---- On Sunday, October 6, 2024, we lost Bryson Peter Haddock, 27, of Raeford, North Carolina, due to a tragic motorcycle accident.
Bryson was born on July 12, 1997, in Laconia, NH, the son of Christopher B. Haddock and Kimberley (Plante) Mariano. He was, from the start, smarter and faster than his parents. It takes a village and he was blessed with a great one.
Bryson was a life-long student. School was not easy for him. He needed to move and learn through action. Music got him to graduation from Laconia High School. During his school years he played the saxophone like his grandfather Donald Haddock and his great-grandfather Roland Cormier. He played many other instruments as part of the Laconia High School marching and jazz bands. Bryson played the opening to "Smoke on The Water" on every instrument he touched, even a violin. He loved singing in the LHS Choir, on swings, back porches, front porches, in his truck, at bonfires and on his motorcycle.
He enjoyed live music, Pokémon Go with his Memere, holiday lights with his Pepere, fishing with his father, motorcycles, snowboarding and his many trips out west with his Aunt Lisa. Most of all, Bryson cared about people. His love for people, like the music that he enjoyed, crossed all boundaries. Bryson worked with his father at CBH Landscape Contractors before he followed his true calling, selling Harley Davidson Motorcycles in NH, FL and then in NC. He and Emma made a loving home for themselves in Raeford, NC. There with her he found enormous peace and contentment while still seeking out adventure and opportunity.
Bryson came to Eastside MC through the Florida Crew where he was affectionately called "Wonder Boy". He had enthusiasm and drive and a bit of a "devil may care attitude" that fit well with us. Soon after, Bryson moved to NC and started earning his many nicknames. Bison, Whistle Pig, Lil' Stank, just to name a few. His enthusiasm and willingness to help earned him respect and eventually his Patch.
Bryson lived life in the fast lane. He never did anything half-way and was always at full throttle. Whether he was riding, at his job, or just hanging with the brothers, he was always pushing it to the limit. His life was cut short by a fatal motorcycle crash, that evil shadow that hangs over all of us that love to ride. It is said that you die twice, once when you pass away, and again when the people you love quit telling your story. Bryson will never experience this second death because he is now Eastside Forever!
Bryson was baptized here in Laconia at Real Life Church. Bryson may have been known to break some rules, embellish some stories, and perform a smoke show from time to time. He possessed what is known as 'soul shine', it lit up his insides and shot out of his eyes. That smile made him so many friends.
Bryson is survived by his dad Christopher B. Haddock and his wife Carol, mother Kimberley Mariano and her husband Paris, his girlfriend Emma Sedgley, maternal grandparents Peter and Julie Plante, paternal grandparents Donald and Sally Haddock, aunts Lisa Plante and Kareen Haddock Lafoley, uncle Casey Haddock, many cousins, and his dearest best friends Jacob (JD) Derusha and Thomas (Tomo) Lefebvre, and his Eastside Brothers. Bryson is predeceased by his great-grandparents Ruth and Roland Cormier.
Calling Hours will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, from 4:00pm-7:00pm, in the Carriage House at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
