Brystol Rae Dodd, age 19, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025, surrounded by the love and warmth of her family. Born on March 22, 2006, Brystol was a radiant soul whose fiery spirit and nurturing heart touched everyone she met.
She was the beloved daughter of Kimberly and Stephen Dodd, and a cherished sister to Peyton and Riley Dodd. Brystol was a proud aunt to Kylie and Adalee, whose lives she filled with laughter and love. She was the treasured granddaughter of Sandra Dickens and Gary (Susan) Dickens and Timothy & Diana Dodd, each of whom adored her deeply. Her dedication and love for her family were unwavering, and she made sure they knew just how much they meant to her.
Brystol’s love extended beyond her human family to her beloved pets—her dogs Rio, Zoey, Jellybean, and Nasa; her rabbit The Muffin Man; and her cats Duffy and Snowball. She was a devoted fur Momma, and her dream was to one day have a whole pack of wiener dogs.
Brystol had a heart as big as her personality, Brystol had a natural instinct to care for others. She was the kind of person who made everyone feel seen, heard, and loved, as she mothered everyone, whether they needed it or not, and made sure no one ever felt alone.
Brystol was pursuing a degree in Animal Science, driven by her lifelong passion for animals and her dream of making a difference in their lives. She was a hard worker, never one to slack off, and always gave her best in everything she did.
Though her time here was far too short, Brystol lived with purpose, love, and joy. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, and her legacy will continue through the lives she touched—both two-legged and four. In every rescued pup, every purring kitten, and every creature shown kindness, a piece of Brystol’s spirit will shine on.
She will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always felt in the soft nudge of a wet nose, the warmth of a furry cuddle, and the quiet, unconditional love that only animals—and Brystol—could give so freely.
Memorial donations to the family are appreciated and will be used to honor Brystol's memory.
