Bud Bramblett Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Tom M. Wages Funeral Service - Lawrenceville on Mar. 23, 2025.
Bud grew up in Lilburn surrounded by extended family. He learned early on the importance of family and the value of friendship, many of his friends from those early years were still an important part on his of life until his final breath. Bud met the love of his life Marie while they were still in high school. It took some persistence on his part, but eventually they began dating. He graduated from Berkmar High. He then pursued his call to ministry by attending Bob Jones University. Soon after graduating Bob Jones, Bud married Marie and began pastoring Temple Baptist Church. Bud and Marie started their family early, and Bud was always there to serve those around him. He wore many hats during this time of life. He would be working building something part of the day, transition to working on a sermon, jump in to bring his family with him to go visit someone in need, come back home to work on practicing the music for the upcoming Sunday. He was a man of many skills, from playing the trumpet, to hunting, to water skiing, to snow skiing, to mechanical work, to preaching, to golfing, to building, to operating heavy equipment, to many other skills. There wasn't much he couldn't do! He began working for IBLP Ministry in the mid 1980's. He put his many skills into practice all the while making more friends for life throughout the country and around the world. During this time, he and the family returned to Killian Hill Baptist Church. He served the church in too many roles to list. there is not a part of the church that he hasn't left his fingerprints on. Bud had a way of making people feel welcome and putting them at ease. He loved his family and friends in a way words cannot express, and the loss of his presence will not be easy.
He was preceded in death by his father William Bramblett and his wife Marie Bramblett. He is survived by his mother Jacqueline Bramblett his brother Kerri Bramblett, his sister Cyndi Williams and her husband Tony. His son Rick Bramblett and his wife Christie along with their children Chad Bramblett and his wife Kayleigh, Rebekah Smith and her husband Matthew and their son Samuel. Claire Bramblett, Matthew Bramblett and Benjamin Bramblett. His son Rob Bramblett and his wife Cindy along with their children Andrew Bramblett, Austin Bramblett, Chloe Bramblett and Sawyer Bramblett. His son Ryan Bramblett and his wife Jackie along with their children Annabell Bramblett, Nicole Bramblett, Reid Bramblett and Alex Bramblett.
