Dorothy Marie Dailey Bramblett, 83, passed from this world into her eternal home on November 11, 2025. Dorothy was born on February 2, 1942, to James Connelly and Callie Vesta Fite Dailey. Dorothy attended Beckville schools and graduated with the Beckville Class of 1960 and attended Panola College and Stephen F. Austin State University where she obtained Bachelor of Science in English and Master of Education degrees.

Dorothy married the love of her life, Louis Wilson Bramblett, Jr. on July 14, 1961, and they enjoyed almost 63 years of matrimony. This union produced three beautiful daughters, nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Dorothy was an educator and licensed professional counselor who invested into the lives of numerous college students who passed through the campus of Panola College where she taught Psychology. Dorothy was a compassionate and giving person who volunteered her time counseling students and others in the community, which she continued to do well into her retirement. Dorothy loved being a professor at Panola and developed close friendships with her colleagues, most notably the "Lunch Bunch" (Twink Ross, Lillian Cook, Suzy Cantwell and Phyllis Reed).

Dorothy was a special person who left a lasting impression on those that knew her. She was a proud Beckville Bearcat where she was blessed with life-long friends Emma Rogers Blakeman, Rosa Metcalf Parks, Susie Sharp Smith, Jamie Gentry Oliver and the late, Jean Ann Parker Kelly. Her most proud accomplishment and rewarding achievement was being "Mimi" and always available to lend an open ear to her grandchildren and great grands!

Dorothy was a long-time member of Central Baptist Church where she was Missions Outreach Leader for several years. Later in life, Dorothy was a strong support to her husband, Louis, as he shared the love of Jesus Christ by distributing God's Word through The Gideons International.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, daughter Casey Bramblett Baker; sisters, Melba Langford (John), and Evelyn Dailey; brother, Billy Dailey (Mary Lou); nephew, Bobby Langford: and nieces, Sandra Dailey and Betty Lou Harris.

Dorothy is survived by daughters, Susan Harris (Randy) and Jill Williams (Brad); son-in-law, Josh Baker; special family friend, Susie Findley; grandchildren, Brandon Williams, Craig Harris (Lindsey), Ann-Marie White (Jake), Eric Harris (Kasi), Kaitlin Lawson (Wade), Joseph Williams (Iliana), Abbie Sharp, Mary Kate Sharp, and Cole Baker; nephews, John "Buddy" Langford and Billy Dailey Jr.; and nieces, Dianne Martin Resta, and Barbara Buchanan.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025, at the Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Charles Dodson officiating. Interment will follow in Gary Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.

Pallbearers are Brandon Williams, Craig Harris, Eric Harris, Joseph Williams, Jake White, Cole Baker and honorary pallbearers, Wade Lawson and John "Buddy" Langford.
