Buddy Perdue

Buddy Perdue, 69, died peacefully at home, surrounded by family. On November 13, 2024, he went to be with his Father in Heaven. He was preceded in death by parents, Elsie and Clarence Perdue; son, Shannon Patton; brother-in-law, Mike Castle; mother-in-law, Eileen Fields; and father-in-law, Don Fields. 

Buddy is survived by wife, Linda Perdue; son, Troy (Beanie) Patton; grandchildren, Ashley Patton and Alicia Patton; great-grandchildren, Kaden and Doren Patton, and Jaxson Bennett; as well as other family members and friends. 

Buddy served our country in the United States Army. He was an ordained minister through the Churches of Christ in Christian Union. Buddy was a pastor at Joan Heights Church , Inner City Church, and Homeland Church. He ran several outreach ministries including caring for the homeless community, street ministry, nursing home ministry. Buddy also helped organize and facilitate a drug recovery group called New Day Today. He served as a deacon at New Life Christian Fellowship. In other free time, he enjoyed fishing, spending time with his grandchildren, and going on outings with Linda. 

Visitation Tuesday, November 19, 2024 from 3pm until the time of Funeral Service at 5pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
