Burnice V. Agler

Burnice was born on March 11, 1921 and passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2017. Burnice was a resident of Napoleon, Ohio at the time of passing. She was a 1941 graduate of Defiance High School. Burnie was a U.S. Navy Wave veteran, serving during World War II at the Naval Air Technical Training Center in Norman, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Russell "Dewey" Agler; sisters, Doris Scheuerman and Francis Kimberly; and brothers, Kenneth, Edward, and Robert Pfahlert, Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Walker-Hoening Mortuary, 333 West Main Street, Napoleon. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Napoleon, Pastor James Castello officiating. Visitation at the church will begin at 10 a.m. until the time of services. Burial with military honors will follow at Glenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to Emanuel Lutheran Church.
