Butch Follis

Butch Follis, of St. Charles, MO, entered into rest on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at the age of 58 years and 25 days. He was born September 3, 1967, in Jerseyville, IL, a son of Robert Homer Follis who survives and the late Cedelia Faye (Charlton) Follis. On August 31, 1991, He was united in marriage to Denise Campbell who survives. Also surviving are four brothers, Ronald Follis, Roger Follis, Ross Follis, and Randy Follis; one sister, Dawn Panhorst, and many more loving family members and friends. He is preceded in rest by his mother, Faye, and a brother, Robyn Follis. For many years, Butch worked security for MEMC-Monsanto to support his family. He took pride in his job and worked very hard to make sure everyone in the plant was safe. He had a huge heart and personality, and could make anyone laugh with his fun sense of humor. Butch was a loving honorable son, husband, brother, and friend. He will be missed by all who were blessed to know and love him. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025, beginning at 12:00 pm from the Cole Family Funeral Home. A Visitation for friends and family to gather will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025, beginning at 11:00 am from the Cole Family Chapel. Interment will follow the services in the Smith Cemetery in Oates, MO.
