Scott is survived by wife, Julie; children, Matthew Scott (Tanin Arkfeld), Andrew James (Lacey Guidry), Jennifer Rae (Justin Idelman), and Jack Joseph (Kelsey) Thompson; grandchildren, Joslyn Belle and Howell Scott Thompson, Audri Breese Labs, and Weston James Thompson; mother, Barbara H. Thompson; siblings, Leslie Lasko and Mike Thompson (Nicole Florez); many nieces; and nephews. Preceded in death by father, Ray Thompson; and brother, Paul Thompson.
MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 11802 Pacific St. Omaha. VISITATION Tuesday, at 6 p.m., followed by ROSARY at 7 p.m., also at church. INTERMENT at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Arbor Day Foundation.

How did we get here so fast! I feel like rip van winkle, it really does go fast!
I met Scott in 1976 @ St Roberts, somehow, we survived our adolescents? Those were crazy times.
I remember in 1978 listening to a band called Aerosmith in his basement. They weren't too bad.
Mike and family, I am sorry for your loss. Every time I hear Dream On I'll say a prayer.

Condolences to Julie, Matt, Andy, Jennie, and Jack. We lost a good one. For all of us, that knew him well. He will be sorely missed.

I'll always remember Scotty for his gregarious and outgoing / friendly personality. A true larger than life character who was never at a loss for words. Safe to say his laugh will be missed by all who had the pleasure of making his acquaintance. RIP my friend - until we meet again......
