Cadance "CJ" Gage Lowry passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at his residence after an extended illness. He was 3 years old.
CJ was born in Lumberton, NC on June 16, 2020. He is the son of Benjamin Lowry and Melissa Jones. He was a student at South Johnson Elementary School. He loved going to the beach and watching Disney movies.
CJ leaves behind to cherish his loving memory; his parents listed above; brothers, Alex, Chase, and Jairee; sisters, Eryn, Melanie, Kasey, Frayja, and Athena; grandparents, Carolyn Blas and James Lowry; Aunt and Uncle, Jessica and Tony Stevens; cousin, Crickett; special friends, Iris Kouser (teacher @ South Johnson Elementary), Sam Brooks (Class Nurse @ South Johnson Elementary), and Amber Bass (Nurse @ HealthKeeperz).
He was preceded in death by; grandfather, Patrick Blas; sister, Phoenix Maggie Storm Jones; great-grandparents, Martha and Edward Wiggins; great uncle, Ted Scheidknecht.
A funeral service will be held at 4pm, Friday, May 3, 2024, at Burroughs Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Marvin Karns. A visitation will be held from 3-4 pm just prior to the service.
Memorials are suggested to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
