Caesar McCanse, of Wellington, Kansas, passed away on February 8, 2025, at the age of 53. Born on June 27, 1971, in Kansas City, Missouri, Caesar lived a life filled with passion and love for those around him.
Caesar had a deep appreciation for the simple joys that life offered. One of his greatest pleasures was watching his beloved Kansas City Chiefs play football, a pastime that brought him immense joy and camaraderie with fellow fans. His love for music was profound, serving as a constant companion throughout his life. In quieter moments, he enjoyed the thrill and strategy of gambling. Above all, Caesar cherished spending time with those closest to his heart, creating memories and sharing laughter.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Belinda Gaskins, and his son, Ceontez Tucker.
Caesar's memory will be cherished by his surviving family, including his beloved wife, Lori McCanse of Wellington, KS; father, Herman Folsum of Wichita, KS; sister, Angel McCanse of Kansas City, MO; his brothers, Levi Allen and Jason Satterfield of Wichita, KS, Rick McCanse of Kansas City, MO, and Kobie Marshall of Charleston, SC. He leaves behind his beloved sons, Chaviyah McCanse of Wellington, KS, and Spencer Weikal of Winfield, KS.
Cremation has taken place and service information will be released at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the Bryce Day Memorial Foundation. Contributions may be mailed or left with the funeral home.
Caesar McCanse's spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends as they remember the warmth and joy he brought to their lives.
