Caitlin Molly Walsh
Caitlin Molly Walsh, age 43, died unexpectedly on September 11, 2023 in Evanston, IL. She is survived by her mother, Leslie (Bloom) Walsh, her sister, Megan Walsh, her brother, Adam Walsh and sister-in-law, Jenny (Weflen) Walsh, her nieces Josie and Mallory Walsh, and her caring stepmother Deborah (Locke) Walsh. They and her countless aunts, uncles, and cousins will miss her smiling face and loving heart.
She is preceded in death by her beloved father, James F. Walsh, Jr. and grandparents, James and Nora Walsh and Robert and Anne Bloom.
Caitlin loved the Cubs, the Bears, the Bulls and the Northwestern and Notre Dame football teams. She also loved music, dancing, reading and writing, and aspired to be a published author.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 22, 12:00 to 2:30 p.m. with a brief memorial to follow at Curley Funeral Home, 6116 West 111th Street, Chicago Ridge, IL 60415.
Instead of flowers, donations in Caitlin's memory to NAMI, www.nami.org, Story Studio Chicago, www.storystudio chicago.org, or to a charity that is close to your heart would be most appreciated.
We are certain that Caitlin would smile if you hug someone dear to you or make an effort to help someone who doesn't expect it. She would really love for you to cheer for the Cubs, especially if you're not a fan.
