Callie Mack Hulsey, 72, of Clarendon, Texas passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2024, in Amarillo. He was born on August 14, 1951, in Wellington, Texas to Carl C. and Verada Hulsey.
He attended school in both Panhandle and White Deer, but rather than following through with his education, Callie decided to enter the work force. He began working on a farm near Lark, Texas then eventually moved to Sedrick, Kansas where he worked on a turkey farm.
Playing cards, bingo and reading were a few of his favorite hobbies and he could appreciate various genres of music. Often, his ornery streak was quite bold, but it was always in fun as he loved to make others laugh revealing his lighthearted jovial nature.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, William Carl "Billy" Hulsey.
He is survived by a brother, Gordon Hulsey of White Deer; a niece, Miranda Vargus and husband John of Pampa; three nephews, Gregory Hulsey of Childress, Randal Hulsey of Middleton, TX and Philip Hulsey of Guymon, OK as well as several great nieces and nephews.
No services are scheduled at this time. The family has entrusted the cremation care of their loved one to Winegeart Funeral Home. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Callie Mack Hulsey, please visit our Tree Store.
