Calvin "T-Cal" Johnson
September 29, 1963 - May 11, 2025
Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of life for Mr. T-Cal Johnson on Friday, May 16, 2025 from 5pm to 8 pm at Tiger Lake Livestock Barn, 8745 Hwy 1, Mansura, La.
Mr. Johnson, age 61 of Fifth Ward, La., entered eternal rest on Sunday, May 11, 2025 in his residence.
T-Cal was a native and lifelong resident of Fifth Ward, La. Through the years he loved working along side his dad "Jack" at Johnson Salvage Yard, and also worked for Guillot's Plumbing Service. His passions in life were riding horses, raising farm animals, and spending time at the Livestock Auction Barn in Mansura. He also loved spending time with family and friends, and last but not least, he loved his "brown bag" specials from "The Sonic".
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Earline Johnson and his sister, Linda Mendoza.
T-Cal is survived by one daughter, Kayla Nicole Gaspard Johnson (Cody) of Marksville and one son, Chancey John Johnson of Hessmer. Three sisters, Debra Lajaunie (Kenneth) of Fifth Ward, Jacqueline Johnson Descant of Moreauville and Brittany Johnson Curtis (Gabe) of Fifth Ward. One step-son, Codi Descant (Lexie) of Fifth Ward and his step-father, Dewey Chelette of Ruby. Two grandchildren, Kayden John Johnson of Hessmer and Jace Trent Johnson of Marksville.
He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins and his best friends, Guy Milazzo, John Boo-Boo Laborde and Sheri Bourgeois.
Arrangements have been placed in the care of Fall Creek of Louisiana Funeral Home, Pineville; Robbie Dauzat, Director.
