Calvin Edward Ormerod, 78, of Albany, GA passed away, Tuesday, December 23, 2025. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 29, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at First Free Will Baptist Church. Rev. David Postlewaite will officiate. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Andersonville Nat'l Cemetery with military honors.
Mr. Ormerod was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Ormerod and Marjorie Rose Ormerod, Stepfather Thomas Hageman, sisters Norma Bales, Mary Wolfe, Jeanette Summrall, and grandson Jared Ormerod.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Ormerod, Albany, GA, children, Calvin Edward Ormerod, JR. (Jean), Dallas, TX, Courtney Elizabeth Wells (Brian), Lawrenceburg, KY, Carolann Beth Hawkins (Reese), Edward Reese Ormerod and Isabella Rose Ormerod all of Albany, GA, siblings, William Ormerod (Patt), Pensacola, FL, Jerry Lee Haueman, Evelyn Drieling and Barbara Williamson all of Biloxi, MS, Betty Ann McQueen (Bobby), Redbanks, MS, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday, December 29, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at First Free Will Baptist Church.
