Calvin M Wright

Calvin M. Wright age 68, of Louisville, peacefully passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025. He was born June 17,1957. Calvin was surrounded by his family when he lost his 4 year battle with cancer. He will be remembered above all for being an extraordinary father, papa, brother, and friend. Anyone who knew Calvin knew he would drop whatever he was doing to help those around him. Calvin's hobbies included umpiring baseball for many years, his bowling leagues, playing tickets at the Louisville Eagles where he was a member for over 30 years, and being the most amazing Papa to his three grandchildren. He enjoyed attending his grandson's sporting events and his granddaughters were the apples of his eye. His sons were his world and he took pride in, and loved being a father that anyone would dream of having.
Calvin is survived by his two sons Christopher (Courtney), and Brandon (Allison); 3 grandchildren Grayson, Charlotte, and Presley; two sisters Pam and Tammie, and a brother Rick. Preceded in death by his parents Violet and Merle Wright. Per Calvin's wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral. Instead, family invites you to a celebration of life that will be held January 3rd at 4:00pm at the Louisville Eagles, where we will remember and honor the life of a man we all loved so dearly.
