Cameron Mark Hines
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that our beloved son, Cameron Mark Hines, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at the age of 29 years old.
Cameron was born on September 18, 1995 to Mark Hines and Christine Hines Sterzer.
He attended Westcliff Elementary in Fort Worth then moved to Arlington where he attended Shackelford Junior High and graduated from Lamar High School in 2014.
Cameron loved all sports, baseball, football, basketball, waterskiing and snowboarding. He loved the competition, camaraderie and friendships that came with it. He cherished his time playing baseball at Blue Raider baseball field in Fort Worth, then playing football at Shackleford Middle School and Lamar High School.
Those that knew Cameron couldn’t help but love him. Know that he loved you back and always had your back. He was a light to so many people. Cameron was always quick with a joke and a laugh, a hug or a helping hand. His smile and laughter could brighten any room he walked into. Cameron loved his family and friends with all of his heart, and as he would always say,”for real, for real!” and you knew he meant it. Even though Cameron wandered off for a little while in the later part of his life, he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior in April 2024. And while we will all have a void in our lives where Cameron was physically, let us keep him alive in our memories and in our hearts, knowing he is at peace with Jesus. In the last note that Cameron wrote to himself was this beautiful reminder to us all…
1 John 4:19 “We love because he first loved us.”
