Cameron L. Porterfield

Cameron L. Porterfield, 24 of Acme died on Monday August 18, 2025 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born on February 7, 2001 in Greensburg a son of Scott S. Porterfield and Stacey Sproat. Cameron was a graduate of Connellsville High School and attended the Vo-Tech school, running heavy equipment. He was a former coal miner and had also been employed by the US Steel Clairton Works. He was a former member of Boy Scout in Troop #163 and was an Eagle Scout. He was also a member of 4-H. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Kellcee Johnson Porterfield; his children, Wyatt and Walker; his maternal grandfather, Terry Sproat of Greensburg; his paternal grandmother, Janet Porterfield of Acme; his aunts and uncles, James Porterfield and Renee of Acme, Leroy Porterfield of Vanderbilt, Michael Sproat and his wife Diane of Greensburg and Cindy Porterfield of Texas; a special cousin, Kassie Wright of Acme and several other cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, David Porterfield; his maternal grandmother, Karen Sproat and his step maternal grandmother, Maryann Sproat. Family and friends will be received in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 406 E. Washington St., Mount Pleasant on Saturday from 12:00 Noon until 6:00 P.M., the hour of funeral services with Rev.
