Cameron Weaver, age 34, passed away on July 11, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. Born on April 23, 1991, to Barry Johnson and the late Shellie L. Weaver, Cameron brought light into every room he entered. Though his time here was far too short, his presence left an imprint on every soul lucky enough to know him.
Cameron was the life of the party, and everyone welcomed it-he fit in anywhere. You couldn't help but smile when he walked in. Whether he was cracking a joke, dancing, or making you laugh until you cried, Cameron had a rare gift: he made every moment feel lighter, warmer, better-just by being in it. Even when he was teasing or pushing buttons, he had a way of turning flaws into laughter and pain into comfort-a gift he carried naturally, knowing how to soften any moment with heart and humor.
He was known to always stay "fresh," with a sharp outfit and clean haircut. You were guaranteed a few notes when he was around-"Boop" on the mic was a moment you never forgot. His voice was beautiful, his rhythm unique, and his charisma lit up every space he graced. And if there was a basketball in his hand, he was going to work.
Cameron's love for his children-Camdan, Marloni, and Ca'miah-was fierce and unwavering. He is also remembered with love by Maiah Gross and her children-Keaton, Jesse, Khamar, and Jaiden-his cherished bonus kids. He gave them his laughter, his presence, his protection-and pieces of himself they will carry forever.
He is survived by his father, Barry Johnson, and his siblings: Courtney Weaver, Chassidy Weaver, Birdena Davis, Christina Cook, Shaylynn Johnson, Barry Cook Sr., Phillip Sanders, Barry Magers, Jordan Barnett, and Xzavion Johnson. He will be missed dearly by his significant other, Tanya Smith. Cameron was preceded in death by his mother, Shellie L. Weaver, and his beloved grandparents: Jackie and Robert Weaver, Lillie Bell Johnson, and Mane Shelly.
A memorial service will be held on July 26, 2025, at 1:00 PM, at REAL Community Covenant Church, 1240 S. Adams St., Suite A, Marion, IN 46953. Cameron will be honored and celebrated by all who loved him-and his absence will be felt always.
