Candace Joy Santos

Candace, 40, of Middletown, NY passed suddenly on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. She was born on March 24, 1984, in Newburgh, NY to her loving parents Maria Kmiec (Vignolesi) and Larry Glade. At the age of 2 she gained a bonus dad, Adam Kmiec and lived out the remainder of her childhood in Thompson Ridge, NY.
In 2007, she gave birth to her first born son, Giovanni, who was the light of her life. After 5 years of friendship, she married her soulmate, Herbie, on August 27, 2011. From there they built their life together and added three more beautiful children to their family.
Those who knew Candace knows how much she cherished and loved her family. She was known for being the life of the party, always with a smile on her face and willing to help everyone and anybody. There are so many amazing adventures and memories that we will all hold near and dear to our hearts.
Candace's legacy is carried on by her loving husband, Herbert Santos and their four children, Giovanni, Isalena, James & Sebastian (Paco), her parents Adam & Maria Kmiec, grandmother Bilma Vignolesi, siblings James (Jessica) Conklin, Anthony Meehan, Erika (Michael) Rosenberger, & AJ (Gina) Kmiec, niece & nephews Mitchel, Ethan, Adalyn & Leandro, as well as countless loving friends, and other family members.
She is preceded in death by her father Larry Glade, grandparents William & Martha Glade, grandparents Chester & Janet Kmiec, grandfather Rudolpho Vignolesi, and Uncle Pablo Vignolesi.
Visitation will be held at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home on Thursday, April 4th from 3pm-7pm. Private Cremation to follow.
