Candace “Candi” MacGill, age 76, of Springfield, Missouri passed away with her family by her side on December 27, 2023. She was born on February 23, 1947 in Bethany, Missouri. She was the daughter of Verl and Glenna Lykins. Candi was a graduate of Albany High School. She married Ed MacGill of Kansas City, Missouri, March 29, 1969. They spent 55 devoted years together.
Candi was very kind-hearted and lived with a heart full of hope. Candi's family near and far were her world. She loved them all very much. She was the rock of her family keeping everyone strong and put together. She especially treasured time with her grandchildren. Candi was a talented seamstress sewing for many years over the course of her life. She loved gardening and playing the piano. She had great value for her work until her illness forced her to resign. She was a financial advisor for Chase for several years and then she became a customer service representative for USAA that helped veterans with their insurance and banking needs.
Candi is survived by her husband Ed of the home; a daughter Stephanie; her grandchildren, Riley and Katie; four sisters, Linda (Jack) Teel, Sue (Gary) Manion, Marilyn Teel, Missy (Les) Meek; and one brother Randy (Shannon) Lykins.
Candi was preceded in death by her only son, Sean Patrick MacGill; her parents; Verl and Glenna Lykins; her in-laws and many other beloved family members.
A visitation will be 2:00 PM, January 6, 2024 at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, Missouri. Cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Crematory.
