Born in Bridgeton, she was the daughter of the late Ellsworth C. "Pat" Craig and Ida Rickard Longhoffer. She had been a Hopewell Township resident since 1974 and had lived in Bridgeton prior to that.
Before her retirement, Candy had been employed in the Business Office at Bridgeton Hospital for over 40 years.
She enjoyed trips to Massachusetts with her family and the shopping she did there with her mother and best friend Lynda while visiting her sister Wendy. Candy was a member of First Baptist Church in Pittsgrove.
She is survived by her son, Robert P. Rain (Tami) of Vineland and her brother and sister, Douglas P. Craig and Wendy S. Craig both of Hopewell Township.
Private graveside services will be held at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Township at the convenience of the family. Interment will follow the services.
