Cara Andree Zamecki, 60, of Beeville, Texas, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025. She was born in Wyandotte, Michigan, on December 28, 1964, to Thomas Leonard Zamecki and Delphine Caryl Lybik. Cara had earned her Doctor of Criminal Psychology and had become a psychiatrist until her retirement. Cara was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed.

Cara was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Leonard Zamecki and Delphine Caryl Lybik, and her daughter, Cara Nichole Guy.

Cara is survived by her husband Rexford Graydon Hicks, her children, Kenneth Ray Guy III and Janet Lucille Hicks, her sister-in-law, Karen (Rick) Ramsey, her grandson, Daron Brose and his grandfather Dennis Brose.
