Daniel Rosenbaum Jr., 60, of Mathis, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. Daniel was born on February 17, 1965, in Mathis, Texas, to Daniel Rosenbaum Sr. and Lucia Rosenbaum. He had worked in construction as a concrete contractor. Daniel was a beloved son, father, brother, grandfather, and friend who will be dearly missed.

Daniel is preceded in death by his beloved brother, Sostenes Rosenbaum, his maternal grandparents, Felipe and Maria Arriaga, and his paternal grandparents, Cruz and Leandra Rosenbaum.

Daniel is survived by his parents, Daniel Rosenbaum Sr. and Lucia Rosenbaum, his children Amanda (Luis Moya Jr.), Daniel (Natalie) Rosenbaum III, Gina (Reynaldo) Aguirre, Jeannie (Joey) Flangan and Cori Smith. Daniel is also survived by his siblings, Hilda Rosenbaum, Beatrice Rosenbaum, Ruby Rosenbaum, Ruben (David Valerio) Rosenbaum, Felicia Florez, and Janie Florez, 14 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 5:00pm - 8:00pm with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm. The Funeral Mass will be held by Father Francis Medanki at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday, October 24, 2025, at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Cenizo Hill Cemetery in Mathis, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Rosenbaum III, Thomas DeLeon, Luis Moya Jr., Sostenes Rosenbaum Jr., Joshua Garibay, Steven Rosenbaum, Noah Rosenbaum, and Kevin Zapata. Harvey Delgado will be an honorary pallbearer.

In celebrating Daniel's life, we invite you to share your memories and photos on his memorial page. Your shared memories will serve as a comforting reminder of Daniel's enduring spirit and will be a treasured keepsake for his family.
