Carl Devaughn Allen was born in Milton, Florida on April 09, 1958 to the late Viada and Cassie Allen, Sr.
Carl accepted Christ at an early age and joined Bethlehem Primitive Baptist under the leadership of Elder Willie Wright. He was active in the Sunday School, Young Adult Choir and the Male Chorus.
Carl and Sherry were joined in holy matrimony on September 30, 2000. To this union, they shared a blended family of six children.
Carl was a loving son, devoted father, and grandfather; he went to be with the Lord in eternity on Thursday, December 09, 2021.
He was a graduate of Milton High School in Milton FL. A man of many hats, Carl was a skilled Concrete Finisher, Grill Master, and a dedicated Deacon of Mount Zion Primitive Baptist Church, where he was active in the Men's Ministry, Bible Study and Choir. Carl also found great joy in tending to his livestock, garden and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Carl is rejoicing with his oldest son, Nicholas Allen; brother, Anthony Allen; and his mother and father, Viada and Cassie Allen as they welcome him into that paradise in the sky that the Lord has prepared for him.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Sherry Allen; three sons: Travis Allen, Tavaris Allen, and Charles Howard; two daughters, Chantal Epps and Donnita Warner; two daughters-in-law, Kristen Allen and Merissa Howard; two brothers, Cassie Allen, Jr. and Greg Allen; and sisters- in-law, Mary Allen, Cherilyn Allen; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
His legacy lives on through his grandchildren: Kyleigh Allen, Niyah Allen, Dwayne Allen, Karmelia Allen, Keimani Allen, Meridian Allen, Kaliyah Allen, Christina Allen, Malik Allen, Derek Robinson, Kamari Warner, Keith Warner III, and Nicholas Allen, Jr.
