Carl S. Bradford passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, December 6, 2024, in his home in Columbus, Ohio. He was born on March 4, 1939, in Clinton, North Carolina to the late Garnie and Sallie Bradford. He grew up in the Clinton/Newton Grove area. During his teenager years he worked alongside his father building houses.
When he was 20 years old, he left his hometown to serve his country in the U.S. Army. While there, he worked as a Defense Missile Crewman. That is where he met his wife, May, of 30 years with whom they had 4 children, Evon, Rocky, Kimberly and Wanda.
During his lifetime, he worked as a Carpenter and retired after 25 years from AT&T as a Master Journey Tradesman.
After retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren Conner (Brittany) Bradford, Cole Bradford, and Ella Bowgren.
Carl was an avid reader, very intelligent and gifted with the knowledge of how to fix anything around the house. At times, he had his own unique way of accomplishing this task. He had a very witty sense of humor that he shared often and at the most unexpected times. His last days were spent being thankful to his Lord Jesus for blessing him with so many years in life.
He is preceded in death by his son Rocky Bradford, his daughter Wanda Bradford, his brothers, Dave and James "Elwood" Bradford, sisters Irene Harrington and Ruth West.
A memorial will take place at Royal Hall Funeral Home in Clinton, North Carolina on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 3:00 pm. Procession to Hillcrest Cemetery in Newton Grove to follow.

I love you dad. So thankful that I had the opportunity to be at your bedside, especially when you slipped into eternity. Taking care of you during your final hours on this earth was my pleasure. I'm so glad you accepted the Lord Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. To God be the Glory until I hug you again. Love you always Kimmy
