Dr. Carl Fox

Dr. Carl Lee Fox, 93, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on November 6, 2025. Born on February 12, 1932 in Pittsburgh, PA, Carl was a compassionate, courageous, dedicated, and loving individual who cherished his family above all else. He was a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1955 and he and his wife were avid supporters of The Buckeyes Football team. He devoted many years of his life to Dentistry, showing unwavering dedication to his profession and providing smiles and comfort to countless patients. Carl served proudly in the US Navy and the US Army where he earned the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
Carl was known for his warm heart and courage. He was a beacon of love and strength for his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Freda; sons, Michael, Steven and David Fox; step daughter, Kim and husband Mark Morrison; sisters, Evelyn Weiner and Eleanor Fox; brother, Irwin and his wife Sandy Fox; grandchildren, Meghan and JT Thacker and Gabe and Kristie Morrison; many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Nathan and Anne Fox; brothers and sister-in-law, Charles James, Bobby James and Helen Hinkle.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 10, 2025 at Epstein Memorial Chapel, 3232 E. Main St. Interment will follow at New Tifereth Israel Cemetery. Shiva will be observed at the home of Evelyn Weiner immediately following interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Carl's memory may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
