Obituary for Carl Erich Kaeser
Carl Erich Kaeser, Age 90, passed away peacefully and comfortably in his
Eastchester, NY home on August 13, 2025.
He was born on March 24, 1935, the only child of Berta Maier and Karl Kaeser who directly migrated from Germany in the 1920's. Born in Mt. Vernon, NY, he had many fond memories of his formative years there. Through the Graham School and Edison High School, playing basketball and surviving many antics with the neighborhood boys, and learning the value of hard work and a hard earned dollar as a young golf caddie at Wykagyl Country Club.
He met Florence Breden and her extensive family there, creating lifelong friendships and relationships with that group. They married in 1958 and enjoyed 59 years of marriage together until her passing in 2017. They raised 2 beautiful girls, Diana and Deborah, in their Park Avenue, Eastchester home.
Carl had a full and healthful life. He served as Staff Sargent in the Air Force Reserves from 1953-1959 as a Radio Relay Equipment Operator and Repairman. He was employed the majority of his working life at the Technicon Corporation in Tarrytown, NY. He was an electrical engineer and pioneered the first blood analyzer diagnostic tools. In his retirement, he traveled and cruised with Flo and their loyal circle of friends, enjoyed relaxing at their CT condo on the shore, and stayed active by playing golf at many different courses in Connecticut and Westchester. He had great pleasure taking his tiny dogs Dusty and Schatzi for walks and to all the best parks and playfields in the area.
He is survived by his two daughters, Diana Lynn Kaeser and Deborah Susan Diekel, who were honored to fulfill his last wishes to remain comfortable in his own home until his last breath. May he rest in peace with the Lord and with all the relatives and friends gone before him.
The family will receive friends at the Westchester Funeral Home,
Eastchester, NY on Sunday August 24 from 1pm to 5pm. A prayer service will be held at 4pm at the funeral home. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may contribute to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, or
