CARL LIND Obituary

LIND, Carl T. Passed away peacefully, on January 30, in Lexington, surrounded by loved ones. He was 85. Beloved husband of Diane (Dahlin) Lind for 62 years. Loving father of Chris Ann Lyons and her husband, Kevin of Arlington, Peter Lind and his wife, Eileen of Falmouth, and Jonathan Lind and his wife, Jill of Park Ridge, IL. Cherished Grandfather to Caleigh and Mackenzie Lyons, Teagan and Maureen Lind, Sofia and Hanna Lind. Son of the late Francis and Frances Lind. Survived by his sister, Barbara Baker; and brother, John Lind; brother-in-law to Gerald Baker and Alice Quigley. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends. Ted was born June 17, 1940 in Everett. He graduated from Arlington High School, Dartmouth College and Harvard Business School. Prior to business school, Ted served as a Lieutenant in the Army, stationed in Stuttgart, Germany. Professionally, Ted served in several long-tenured leadership positions, primarily in manufacturing, including Texas Instruments, Analog Devices, Foxboro Company, and Neslab Instruments, before ultimately starting his own management consulting company in the final decade of his professional career. In addition, he treasured the team and his role as Chairman of the Board of Web Industries. A Celebration of Life for Ted will be held Saturday, February 28, at 2pm, at New Covenant School, 7 Clematis Road, Lexington. Relatives and friends are invited. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pilgrim Pines, 220 West Shore Drive, West Swanzey, NH 03446.
