Born on August 24, 1930 in Missoula, Montana and passed away on April 17, 2023 in Graham, WA. Carl was the 3rd of 6 children in his family. He was preceded in death by Stanley, Lila, and Diane was well as his parents; Bernhart and Lecie Nielsen. He is survived by his brothers; Eugene and Dale. After highschool, Carl served in the Army during the Korean War. He then worked at Ft. Lewis as a civilian carpenter. After he retired he dedicated a lot of his time to his hobbies painting, hiking, and photography. Funeral services are at 1:00 PM, Friday May 12th at Fir Lane Memorial Park And Funeral Home in Spanaway with military honors.
