Carl Wesley Raisor

Mr. Carl "Wes" Wesley Raisor, age 70 of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on December 12, 1953 in El Paso, Texas. He was the loving son of the late Lawrence Robert and Nancy Paige Richmond Raisor. He resided most all of his life in Jefferson County and was a 1972 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School. He attended Purdue University for two years. He was a farmer all of his life and also had worked construction as well as for Teton Corporation a lot. He had been a member of the Carpenters Union and a member of the Wirt Baptist Church. Wes enjoyed fishing, gardening, and socializing with the Hanover-McDonald's Coffee Club. A LOVING FAMILY
Wes will be missed by his loving brothers, Tom Raisor of Madison, Indiana, John Raisor of Seymour, Indiana; his loving sisters, Laura Raisor Gardner and her husband, Jayson of Franklin, Indiana, Mary Raisor King and her husband, Dan of Danville, Kentucky; his nieces and his nephews, Katie Raisor McClure (Matthew), Becky Raisor Oliphant (Brian), Bryan King (Amanda), Rachel King, Kyle Gardner (Danielle), Sean Gardner (Yanisha), and Mick Gardner; his great nieces and great nephews, Zander Vonch, Lucas Gardner, Hayden Gardner, Eli Gardner, Wesley Gardner, Ares Gardner, Erik Oliphant, and Laura Alice Raisor; his cousins, James Robert Adams, Karen Sue Adams Bentz, and Brian Adams; his close extended family, Chad Madden and Israel Madden; and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Robert Raisor, died April 5, 2016, his mother, Nancy Paige Richmond Raisor, died March 20, 2002, his nephew, Bradley Thomas Raisor, died November 6, 2020, his grandparents, Lawrence Wesley Raisor, died Nov. 24. 1999 and Ethel Raisor, died Sept. 14, 1998 and Carl H. Richmond, died 1982 and Blance M. Shelton Richmond, died 1995, and his cousin, Anita L. Adams, died August 30, 2006.
FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 19, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. by Pastor Troy Hedges at the Wirt Baptist Church north of Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Olive Branch Cemetery near Madison, Indiana.
VISITATION
Friends may visit Thursday from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Wirt Baptist Church near Madison, Indiana.
