Carl was an amazing man ... the spirit of Baltimore, a true living legend. A friend to all, he experienced life to the fullest. May his family find peace in knowing that wonderful memories of him will live on forever. God bless his heart and soul.

Mr. Carl was such an amazing neighbor. He was always quick with a joke or a cool story. My father and I could never shovel his driveway alone. Whenever he heard us, he would come right out with his shovel and wouldn´t take no for an answer. We will certainly miss him. My deepest condolences to his family.

Uncle Carl was the life of the party. He brought the beer, the jokes, and the fun. From singing at family reunions (The Scheffel Family is the best family...), to our giant group at Baltimore Blast games (having walked there from Poe's Pub). Throwing me in the air when I was a kid, and then years later taking me on vacations to babysit the littles. I have so many fond memories, he will be missed immensely.
