Carl J. Thompsen, age 88, passed away at Northcrest Living Center on October 29, 2024.
He was born October 31, 1935, to the late Carl and Hattie Thompsen in Council Bluffs, IA. Carl farmed and retired Farmland Industries.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ruby Pike.
Carl is survived by his wife of 68 years, Helen Thompsen; children, Jim (Gail) Thompsen, David Thompsen, Diana (Rich) Taylor, and John (Kim) Thompsen; sister, Lois Martin; grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, November 04, 2024. A luncheon will immediately follow the visitation. Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM at Grange Cemetery on Monday, November 4, 2024. The family will direct memorials.
