Carl Dale Whitaker, 85, of Frostburg, passed away at home surrounded by family on Thursday, August 10, 2023.
Born on April 25, 1938 to the late Dale (Arnold) Whitaker and Carl Whitaker. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Janet Whitaker; brother, George Whitaker.
Carl was a co-owner of Whitaker rentals and owner of the Frostburg Democrat Club in the early 80's.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Josephine Whitaker; son, Randy Whitaker and wife Debbie; daughter, Carla Fowler; grandchildren, Tyler Whitaker, Garrett Whitaker, Cody Fowler, Hailey Fowler; great-grandchildren, Sophia Whitaker and Brooks Whitaker. Brother, Harry Whitaker and wife Rosemary; Sister, and Edith Whitaker.
Carl will be cremated and there will be no services in accordance with his wishes.
The Family of Mr. Whitaker send their heartfelt thanks to UMPC Hospice, especially nurses, Corrine and Kerrie, and Dr. Riley.
