Carla Champion

Carla Elaine Champion, of Nesbit, Mississippi, passed away on November 17th, leaving behind a lifetime of love, humor, and unwavering dedication to her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Kelli Little (Seth) and Brittney Champion; her siblings, Jason Morgan "Kerri" and Susan Guerieri "Mike"; her mother, Shirley Morgan; and her cherished grandchildren, Zofia Champion, Brittani Champion, and Scarlett Little. She was preceded in death by her father, James Barry Morgan.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Love Cemetery. A memorial gathering will take place Saturday from 12:00–2:00 p.m. at the home of her sister, Susan Guerieri.
Carla lived her life with warmth and a spirit that made everyone feel welcome. She was rarely seen without her signature Diet Coke with extra ice, and she never missed an opportunity to play board games, cook, or simply make memories with her grandchildren. Her "grand-dogs" were always greeted with treats the moment she walked through the door.
As a flight attendant, Carla embraced adventure and treasured the chance to travel the world. At home, she stayed close to her faith, always keeping a Bible by her bedside. She especially loved sunny days spent working in the yard and took great pride in being present for every family event-making sure no one was talking about her.
