Ms. Carla (Dee Dee) DeShauen Fransaw, daughter of the late Carl and Daveline Fransaw, was born June 3, 1973, in Lufkin Texas. She was the second child of the couple's three children together. Dee Dee attended public schools of Jefferson County and was a graduate of Central Sr. High School in Beaumont, Texas.
After high school, Carla joined the United States Army for many years. She was stationed in different locations around the United States. After her discharge, she joined the army reserve and served for numerous years. Later in life, she pursued her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She found a great appreciation for education, and continued and pursued her Master’s Degree in Finance.
Carla (Dee Dee) was a faithful Christian and had a strong belief in Jesus. She was known largely for embracing her children, family and friends with loving thoughts, laughter, and words of encouragement. She was very proud of her children and loved them with all of her heart.
She took pride in being a loving mother, sister, niece, and cousin, as a result of her generous spirit, and down-to-earth personality. She was loved by many, she enjoyed gathering with family and friends. Her special pastime was talking on the phone, watching her shows, and especially spending time with her kids. Dee Dee loved life and will be missed for her sense of humor and strength. Her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.
Our beloved quietly departed this life Thursday, June 29, 2023, in Houston in Texas. Carla (Dee Dee) was preceded in death by her father, Carl Fransaw, Jr., and her mother Daveline Fransaw.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: her son, Jawun Jones of Orange, Texas her daughter, Maya Deason of Houston, Texas her daughter, Layla Stredic of Houston, Texas, her siblings: sister, Kayla House of Arlington, Texas, brother, Jose Fransaw, of Beaumont, Texas, nieces and nephews: nephew, Ross (Tre) House III of Fort Worth, Texas niece Keona House of Arlington, Texas, nephew, Stephen House of Arlington, Texas, and they host of below family and friends and neighbors.
