Carlen Susan Sinisgalli, 68, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025, in her hometown of Bristol, Connecticut. Born on December 19, 1956, in Bristol, Carlen remained deeply connected to her local roots throughout her life.

She pursued her passion for education at Central Connecticut State University where she earned a degree in special education – a field that reflected her dedication to helping others and making meaningful differences in the lives of those around her. Following graduation, Carlen's career goals led her to join the Bristol Adult Resource Center where she managed both the greenhouse and candy departments. Her work there was more than a career; it was a testament to her commitment for creating inclusive spaces and opportunities for adults with disabilities. Through her leadership and care, she helped cultivate not only plants and confections but also community and purpose for others. Her hobbies included gardening, nature and photography.

She is lovingly remembered by her sister Lisa Sinisgalli Erol; her brother Paul Sinisgalli and his wife Barbara (Blake) Sinisgalli; her niece Rebecca Sinisgalli, husband Louis Polan and great-niece Evelynn Polan. She also leaves behind her cousin Nancy Krueger, many other cousins and friends who cherished her presence and her beloved cats Draco, Zena and her sister's cat Blue.

Carlen was predeceased by her parents, Domenic Anthony and Agnes Lillian (Steinackle) Sinisgalli. No services will be held at this time. May Carlen's memory bring comfort to all who were touched by her kindness and dedication. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association or an animal rescue agency.
