On September 22, 2025, Carlishia Jeanora Elligan departed this life. She was born in Washington, DC on February 25, 1985 to Orajean M. Elligan.
Affectionately called Carli, her early years were spent at Way of Faith Christian Academy. After which she furthered her educational growth and graduated from Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA in 2008. Her love for children led her to teach at Stone Hill middle school in Ashburn, VA for 10+ years. She was also employed with the town of Vienna as the camp supervisor for the past 12 years.
She was blessed with many talents and pastimes, most notably her love for the Washington Capitals and Nationals. Her numerous trips with the Holy Ship allowed her to travel extensively. In addition, Carli loved to volunteer and gave of her time and passion to Young Life and the Remakery.
We will miss you, we will always love you dearly and look forward to the day that we meet you in God's Kingdom.
Carlishia J. Elligan leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Orajean M. Elligan of Reston, VA, two sisters, Donese J. Elligan of Waldorf, MD, Jonique V. Elligan (Gareth Hamilton) of New York, NY and a host relatives and friends.
God saw the road was getting rough
