Carlo Pugliese

Carlo Pugliese, age 90, of Roselle Park passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, October 13, 2025.

Carlo left his hometown of Turin, Italy, in 1979 with his loving wife, Giuseppina, and their sons, Giovanni and Antonio, to begin a new chapter in life.

Carlo brought with him a deep love of gardening and a passion for making his own wine and sausages - skills that became a cherished part of his life and legacy. He was well known for his incredible talent in both, and nothing made him happier than sharing the fruits of his labor with family and friends.

Carlo found true joy in his garden, where he took immense pride in nurturing every plant and showing off the beauty he created. His giving spirit was unmatched - no one ever entered his home without being offered a glass of his homemade wine or one of his delicious treats.

Carlo will be lovingly remembered for his warmth, generosity, and devotion to his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Giuseppina; his sons, Giovanni (Rossy) and Antonio (Carolyn); his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Carlo's legacy lives on in the love he shared, the garden he tended, and the family he nurtured with such pride.

A Memorial Service will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, with a service at 3:00 pm, on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at the Lehrer-Gibilisco Funeral Home located at 275 West Milton Avenue in Rahway, NJ.
