He is survived by his wife Yanira de De Geest of St. Clair; one daughter, Monica De Geest and husband Ricardo Gallardo of St. Clair; three grandchildren: Emma, Leo, and Mateo Gallardo; his mother, Bilma de De Geest of El Salvador; two sisters: Sandra De Geest and husband Marles of El Salvador and Ivonne De Geest of El Salvador; one brother, Rafael De Geest and wife Cecilia of El Salvador; two sisters-in-law: Yasmin and husband Jose of El Salvador and Ana Elena and husband Jose of El Salvador and their children; nieces and nephews: Maddline, Godfried, Marcela, Grace, Miguel, Gabriela, and Renata; along with aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carlos Michel Benjamin Godfredo De Geest; his father-in-law, Jose Luis Arevalo; and his mother-in-law, Josefina Amaya.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Union, MO. Burial will follow in Midlawn Memorial Gardens in Union, MO.
Visitation for 65-year-old Carlos De Geest will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, August 22, 2025 at Oltmann Funeral Home in Union, MO. A parish rosary will be prayed at 3:45 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
Floral arrangements are preferred from Sisterchicks Flowers & Gifts in Union, MO.
The De Geest family is served by Oltmann Funeral Home in Union, MO.
