In Loving Memory of Carlos "Lipz" Molina

Father. Son. Brother. Uncle. Friend. Adventurer. Foodie. Fixer.

Carlos Ricardo Molina, lovingly known as "Lipz," "Compa Lipz," and "Lippies," was born in Los Angeles, CA, on July 26, 1970. He was born second of five children to Richard Molina and Leslie Castro.

If you knew Carlos, you knew his magnetism. He drew everyone in with his witty sense of humor and generous spirit. With an unmatched zest for life, he was always ready to share a laugh with those who needed it. Carlos lived life to the fullest with passion and heart.

As a general contractor he was able to spot an issue and solve it almost immediately. There was nothing he couldn't fix - a real-life MacGyver! A self-proclaimed foodie, Carlos loved to eat. From Tomahawk steaks to Omakase to Carbonara he enjoyed it all. When he wasn't checking out the newest restaurant for delicious bites you would likely find him in the great outdoors.

Carlos's favorite hobbies included cars, motorcycles, and off-roading toys. His happiest days were spent riding the sand dunes in Glamis, boating on Lake Havasu, and taking his motorcycle out with his boys.

Carlos was a proud father to Kasey, Sonya Yvette, Tristan, Justus, and Samantha. He was honored to be grandfather to Logan, Rome, and West. He was a beloved son to Richard and stepson to Carmen, a beloved son to Leslie and stepson to John. Carlos was a loving brother and best friend to Jenny, brother to Manny, Michael, and David. He was also proud godfather and uncle to Klarissa, and uncle to Nick, Kennedy, Khloe, Luna, Sky, Ethan, Sebastian and Sophia. A great-uncle to Mila and Jeremiah.

In his final months Carlos fought bravely through illness, with close family and friends by his side, never losing his faith, warmth, or strength. Carlos was called home to Jesus on November 5, 2025, with his sister Jenny by his side, joining his brother Louis Molina, maternal grandmother Milagro Ruiz, and paternal grandmother Yolanda Steffler in Heaven.

Carlos leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Though his absence leaves a deep hole in our hearts, we take comfort in knowing we will see him again one day in paradise.

A public time of gathering for family and friends will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Monday, November 17, 2025, in Reflections Chapel at Rest Haven Funeral Home, located at 2500 State Highway 66 East, Rockwall, TX, 75087.

A funeral service to honor the life of Carlos will follow, at 2:00 PM, also in Reflections Chapel. Interment will take place immediately after conclusion of the chapel service at Rest Haven Memorial Park in the Garden of Memories, also located on site.

Independent florists are kindly asked to deliver floral arrangements directly to Rest Haven Funeral Home in Rockwall, by 12:00 PM on Monday, November 17, 2025, in order for them to be set out and properly displayed for Carlos's visitation in a timely manner.
