Carlos Pando Urquidez Sr., 77 years of age from Grand Prairie Texas passed away on April 8,2024 in Grand Prairie, Texas, at home surrounded by his loved ones.
Visitation will be on Monday April 15, from 1 p.m. 9 p.m. at Martinez Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday April 16, 2024 at Martinez Funeral Home with the Pastor Hiriam Urquidez officiating. Internment will follow at Andrews Cemetery in Andrews, Texas. Reception to follow at Iglesia de Poder y Restauracion, 11300 W University Odessa Tx 79764
Arrangements are being handled by Martinez Funeral Home and Crematory, 1040 S. Dixie Blvd Odessa TX 79761.
Carlos Pando Urquidez Sr. was born in Barranco Azul, Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico to Vicente Rodriguez Urquidez and Lilia Pando Gomez on November 4, 1947. He married Margarita Hernandez Flynn on June 23, 1973 in Kermit, Texas.
Carlos was preceded in death by his father, Vicente Rodriguez Urquidez, mother, Lilia Pando Urquidez, and sisters Blanca Medrano and Nery Pando Urquidez.
Carlos is survived by his wife: Margarita Urquidez, his children: son Jose Juan Urquidez and his spouse Tracy Urquidez; daughters Ana Lilia Kinninmonth and Priscilla Plasida Urquidez and son
Carlos Urquidez Jr. His siblings: sister Nadia Urquidez Baca, and brothers Raul Urquidez, Benjamin Urquidez, Ricardo Urquidez, Efren Urquidez, Joel Urquidez, Jaime Urquidez, Hiram Urquidez and Elias Urquidez. His grandchildren: Christopher R. Kinninmonth Jr., Gregory Alexander Urquidez, Evelyn Marie Carroll, Desiree Cheyenne Urquidez, Aidan Vicente Urquidez, and Isabelle Rose Urquidez.
The pall bearers will be as follows: son Jose Juan Urquidez, son Carlos Urquidez Jr., nephew Alonzo Urquidez, Nephew Hiram Urquidez Jr.
