Seminole resident Carlotta Marie Dodson passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at her home at the age of 67. Carlotta was born on December 29, 1958 in Winnie, TX to Claude James and Mildred (Bertrand) Sonnier. She graduated from Hamshire Fannett High School on May 31, 1977. Carlotta worked in data entry at the Houston Police Department in her younger years.
Carlotta is survived by her son, Shane Clifton; daughter, Holly Ochoa; brothers, Robert Sonnier, Brett Sonnier and Kevin Sonnier; sisters, Janet Sonnier Deyoung, Regina Sonnier Harrington and Carolyn Sonnier Beckcom; five grandchildren and many other family and friends.
Carlotta was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2026 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, OK.
